2014 held our first "Praxis" as two renditions of "everyone is a teacher" freeschools.
2017 began the 5 year "Praxis Project" annual permaculture inspired art festival :)
Now achieved.. we NEED TO CELEBRATE !!
In the spirit of revolutionary ecology, regenerative economies, earth democracy, knowledge sharing & collectivism. We are creating opportunities to bring people together (week before / after as well) in the hopes that this will tighten our wide network, build relationships through non-ordinary moments, teach us something, provide an example of a safer, really really green event, open our individual minds, strengthen our bioregion, and connect us to beyond....
lol.. oh and good dance party in the forest with loads of BASS is always Top Notch :)

DESCRIPTIONS
"Getting to Know Fungi"
Learn about mushroom anatomy 101. From experience Tobi will speak of mycology, microbiology and botany. Than take your hands at creating a king stropharia mound with local milled hardwood chips and an inoculated block of mushroom.
"Wild Child Nature Connection"
Folks of all ages are invited to invoke their inner wild child as we connect with nature, each other, and ourselves through joyous nature games.
"Plant ID Walk & Ethical Harvesting Talks"
Enjoy a stroll around the permaculture site listening to Munna speak about herbalism, local foods, native medicines and ethical harvesting. This is a very diverse site and we are just ending the biggest bloom this land has seen.
"Yin Yoga"
Yin yoga is a slow, passive style of yoga, done mostly on the floor in seated or lying-down postures. In Yin, we hold an asana, or pose, for anywhere between one and 20 minutes. We come into the pose to a point where we feel significant resistance—our 'edge'—and stay there, calmly holding the pose and remaining still for the duration. Great for beginners! Lisa is a great teacher with LOADS of experience. we are lucky to have her here!
"Yoga and Flow"
Workout AND yoga, all wrapped into one. This yoga workshop taught by Seven, is still for everyone, but more upbeat than the yin yoga workshop a little earlier. Come to both if you really want to get breath in nature this weekend.
"How to Make Your Own Scrubbie with Horsetail"
DIY hand skills are a necessity in life these days. This hands on workshop with Julie will leave you with a basic, yet regularly used tool for everyday with just local horsetail (plant).
"South Knowlesville Community Tour"
Join one of the co-founders of the South Knowlesville neighborhood as we know it know it now. Hear stories about the lands history, local initiatives, current struggles and future goals from Leland Wong-Dougherty, while on a tractor lead tour between local plots.
