REBORN AGAIN!
"What was once living, will be reborn again", could be a law in the world of organics...
Cycles dictate life and we are no different, our site and organizers loved the last few years of downtime... but now the site is fruiting dwarf cherries, haskaps aplenty, lines of asparagus and colonies of edible mushroom, and its time to use what works :) So we are planning to host a bigger Praxis Project again!
In the spirit of family and relationship building, native & revolutionary ecology, regenerative & circular economies, vertical AND lateral knowledge sharing, we are creating opportunities to bring people together (week before / after events) in the hopes that this will tighten our wide network, build relationships through non-ordinary moments, provide an example to our kids (and each other) of a safer, really really green event, opening our individual minds, strengthening our bioregion, and connecting us to beyond.... oh ya, with fires, lotsa music & visual art, a dance parties and quality food provided to all members:)
The Praxis Project believe that nurturing education through immersive workshops & entertainment in positive, fun social environments, truly create lasting impacts. Non-ordinary moments help build relationships. Join us in our permaculture designed site where the development is speaking for itself, blending aspects of agriculture, forestry and homesteading into a functional AND beautiful, regenerative playground :)
Stay tuned for this years workshops! Over the last 5 years we hosted classes in permaculture and orchard design/guilds & food forests, chainsaws, tractors, mycelium intro and hardwood inoculations, bio dynamic composting, soil science & compost teas, dehydrating, pickling and pressure canning, plant ID, DIY herbal salves, painting, agroforestry, bio char intro, aircrete applications, how to organize & build solidarity, yoga, how to make kombucha, swales, fermentation, sourdough bread & cheese making, off grid solar power, intro to electricity, soil food web and more....
In the words of Bill Mollison we are, "Working towards hammock time."
Join our mailing list for first chance to sign up. Come early, stay late, get fed and learn..
