In the spirit of family and relationship building, native & revolutionary ecology, regenerative economies, earth democracy, knowledge sharing & collectivism, we are creating opportunities to bring people together (week before / after as well) in the hopes that this will tighten our wide network, build relationships through non-ordinary moments, provide an example to our kids and each other of a safer, really really green event, open our individual minds, strengthen our bioregion, and connect us to beyond.... oh and a solid long weekend in summer here, with fires, music, dance and food is always quality :)
This event is a private membership-based event and all people showing up without an RSVP will be asked to sign a waiver and join as a member. Remember this is a real leave-no-trace event where we do not put out garbage cans or recycling bins, and expect you to return home with what you bring to the site. This way we minimize our impact on the land.
Dance with new friends on the eco-engineered regenerative dancefloor.
Be amazed at the entertainment and visuals brought from all over Atlantic Canada!
Eat locally grown and prepared food in a natural setting.
Sit in our outdoor dining area around our HUGE TABLES :D
Sleep immersed in nature and family!
Walk around the permaculture food forest planted in 2019.
Build new relationships with plants, trees, people and more.
Shower in our new shower and poop in our new restrooms!
Learn something new under the NEW geodesic dome.
Teach a kid one of the lessons you've learned and value ;)

MEMBERSHIP
This is a membership-based, collectively organized, non-profit gathering on private land. Membership means belonging- we are in this together. Most importantly, our membership platform supports our gatherings being affordable by sharing some of the workload & cost amongst all participants (ex: food), while increasing camaraderie and fostering moments to build your connections. ALL Attendees will be asked to sign up for a "volunteer MEMBERSHIFT" in one of the daily operations necessary for the gathering to actively live up to our Leave No Trace policy. Don't worry, these are fun and not too long (you get to meet super cool people).
Our events are membership-based private events, and all people showing up without an RSVP will need to be signed in at our 'Portal'. Remember our locations are practicing a leave-no-trace event where we do not put out garbage cans or recycling bins, and expect you to return home with what you bring to the site. This way you help minimize our impact on the land. We have developed most of our site to mitigate the foot traffic impact by placing biomass (woodchips/mulch) on pathways, camping sites, our regenerative dancefloor and our dining areas, and are thus nearly flood free all year round (including our covered dancefloor!) This helps us ensure we follow the laws, and have enough food for all.... This year we are offering different packages for the weekend experience and day rates!
FIRES
There are two dedicated open fires onsite; the communal tea kitchen fire & the large sacred fire. We ask that you do not start any open fires onsite. Please bring a small propane set up if this is a need for you.
VENDING
We will be providing vending/sales opportunities to our members during this event. Contact for price, your choice from multiple locations around the site. Accepting application requests at [email protected] now.

Each Membership gets access to vegan meals served by our onsite kitchen with local and organic foods (some grown onsite) on Friday supper, Saturday and Sunday lunch & Supper, then monday lunch. Come prepared to fend for yourself at breakfast, and don't forget to bring snacks, cutlery, plate, bowl and water bottle. We have a dish pit that you are more than welcome to clean your utensils in, and compost piles for paper and other biodegradable waste.
WATER
We have a clean water well with pipes to transport it all around the site. We also have a small clean stream behind our main forested area. Mobile hand washing units are stationed around the land too.
SHOWERS
New to the site for 2025, we are offering limited shower tokens to wash off in our off-grid propane heated showers. The space is loaded with cool art, and we recycle the greywater. Purchase Token HERE
HOT TUB FUNDRAISER RAFFLE
We are excited to tell you about our recently acquired wood fired hot tub!! Placed in our small forested hammock glen and lit with colorful solar power lights and a dope fog machine, we can create a new experience for a very limited few of you. DISCLAIMERS
Covid
We want you all to be safe, and in this day in age we must communicate to be safe. Please ask before you touch another member: CONSENT RULES! In general, we ask that all members respect the space of other attendees, giving them as much space as they want; DONT FORGET TO ASK ;) We are an open air event with sorta loud music, so we can be a little farther away from each other and probably get a better dance-on. Sanitizer will be provided at multiple locations onsite, but you must bring your own personal protective equipment (masks, etc) if you feel the need (we are not able to provide this). We encourage 'Courageous Conversations' and ongoing enthusiastic consent.
Fire & Heated spaces
Here we are nearing fall and the weather in the eve turns cool. Bring a sweater and a change of clothes. We have two burn barrels for light and heat near the dancefloor (covered), a medium sized firepit in the forest dining room (covered), and a large open fire pit in the field (not covered). The house is off limits; thanks for understanding.
Rain & Heatwaves
If we see rain or a heatwave in the forecast we want to tell you we will cover our entire dancefloor! Also, due to the site's permaculture design, there won't be flooded pathways to trudge through, regardless of rains. We are also covering our serving/kitchen area, as well as the forest firepit, and the outdoor dining tables. Other covered spaces exist on our site as well, and with a gathering this size, we'll still have a lot of space to dance under the stars!

HOW DO I VOLUNTEER FOR THIS?
We are asking for minimum 10h volunteer time for your 4-day event ticket.
You must have purchased your membership for your event ticket to be valid.
Before and after the Gathering: LONG CREW get to learn the space at special times of the year, and up to a month before and a week after the event. They will be preparing the space for our impact, growing our food needs for the event, and ensuring a safe awesome time with sturdy and innovative infrastructure. After the event, they will be helping to remediate any impact we made to the site to ensure that it regenerates successfully for future events. Food is provided 2 meals a day, alongside lots of local opportunities to learn and be part of the off-grid neighborhood. TWO HOUR daily minimum commitment on Praxis site gets you food that day. It’s up to you to get your 10+hours in. 🙂 Come for a visit and become part of our volunteering family. Get fed, help the event and meet the neighborhood. 😃
During the Gathering: HELPERS are asked to do 10 minimum hour commitment. We require day & night HELPERS to spend time onsite helping us with the logistics and operations of running a safer and fun gathering in a rural setting. We have roles for everyone: Cooks, artists, cleaners, diggers, First Aid certified care takers, gate support, and Cosmic Custodians to keep our systems running smoothly. This is not considered a membershift during the event.
